Tai Thai

I wanted to start out  by wishing all the lovely ladies a Happy Women’s Day! 🙂

Since my evidence professor is an awesome man, he cancelled our class yesterday, meaning that I got out of school early! Tommy had been out after work with some friends and was hungry, so we met up for some dinner in Brooklyn. We hit up our favorite Thai restaurant, Tai Thai.

We started out sitting outdoors, (Yes! It is finally getting warm enough for outdoor dining!) but since the sun had already gone down, he moved inside when it got a bit chilly. I love this place during the summer because they open up their big windows and the whole restaurant spills into the street. Can you tell that I cannot wait for the warm weather to get here?

We started our meal by sharing an appetizer of calamari, which was served with a spicy sweet and sour sauce. The dipping sauce is so good!

For my entree, I got the Vegetable and Tofu Pad See Ew. Pad See Ew is my favorite Thai dish and pretty much what I get anytime I go out for Thai. Tai Thai’s Pad See Ew is delicious. It was my fist time getting the vegetarian version of these noodles, but I enjoyed it just as much as my usual chicken.

If you’re a fan of Pad Thai, I highly recommend you try Pad See Ew. The two dishes taste similar, but I have to say Pad See Ew blows Pad Thai out of the water in my opinion.

Did I mention that today is my last day of school before Spring Break? Yea, you should be jealous! 😉

Have a great Thursday!

Have you ever had Thai? What’s your favorite Thai dish?

So exciting for your Spring Break! I remember those days. I miss college.

  4. I know I would like Thai food but it scares me. The last time I tried something – it had fish sauce in it, and I hated it right away!
