Valentine's Day Bark

A simple Valentine's Day treat made with chocolate and festive candy.

Ingredients

  • 1 12 oz bag semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 12 oz bag white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup pink candy melts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup conversation hearts
  • 1/2 cup M&Ms (or any other candy you like)

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a double boiler, melt your semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • Once completely melted, transfer to parchment lined baking sheet and spread into a thin layer.
  • Place baking sheet into fridge to let chocolate set quickly.
  • While the semi sweet chocolate is setting, melt your white chocolate chips in the double boiler.
  • Pour melted white chocolate onto the baking sheet and spread to cover the semi-sweet chocolate layer.
  • While the white chocolate is still liquid, press conversation hearts, M&Ms and other candies into the white chocolate.
  • Melt your candy melts in your double boiler and sprinkle it over the bark to create swirls.
  • Place in fridge to set completely for 30 minutes.
  • Once completely set, break into small pieces and enjoy!
