All You Can Eat Crabs!

I can’t believe I start school in a little over a week.  This summer flew by way too fast and I would do anything to get it back. This is why I’m planning to make the most of the next week and a half and spend as much time with my Munchkin man.  Maybe I can pass him off as a student and have him come to school with me.

Yesterday we started out our day running errands on foot because our car is still making interesting noises and now has the battery disconnected.  🙁

We bought cards for the Baby Shower and Wedding that I’m going to on Saturday.  Two parties in one day should be interesting, but I’m excited.

On our way home we stopped at the little park so Munchkin could run around a little bit.

Once we got home Munchkin was ready for a nap which worked out great because I was ready to get to baking.

I made Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Crescent Rolls.  They were probably the easiest and quickest fresh baked treat you can make. It only uses three ingredients – crescent dough, peanut butter and chocolate chips.

You just roll out the dough, spread on PB on it, top with chocolate chips, wrap and bake in a 375 degree oven for 10 minutes.

We enjoyed dinner out on Long Island at Popei’s Clam Bar, with Tommy’s cousin Robby, his wife Chrissy and Tommy’s god daughter Arianna, who is already crawling! Tommy took some really cute pictures of Arianna and Alex playing but unfortunately, I didn’t get them off his phone.

Everyone got the all you can eat Crab and Shrimp Special, except for me. I didn’t feel like I could eat enough to warrant the price tag. I also get frustrated when I can’t get the crab open, so I passed.

I got the Seafood Trio which was shrimp, crab stuffed flounder and baked clams. I’m a huge fan of anything with crab meat, so the flounder was right up my ally. Munchkin enjoyed my side of fries with lots of ketchup, which is his new favorite condiment.

The food was really good and the seafood was super fresh.  They also have a lounge area with video games and couches for people to play while waiting for others in their party to finish their all you can eat meal, which I thought was really cute because I was done fairly quickly and watched the crab eaters play with their food for a while.

Overall, we had a great time and everyone enjoyed their dinner.  We didn’t get home until pretty late because we had over an hour drive to get back home.

Today I have a hot lunch date with my cousin Patricia, which we have been trying to go on since Monday, but we keep rescheduling.

Have a great Thursday!

What’s your favorite sea food?
Do you know how to slow down time so I don’t have to go back to school already?
