Haircut Duex

Potty training is in full force in our household and at the rate we’re going, Munchkin will know how to go potty by the time he turns 47.  That is, if I’m lucky. Yesterday, we purchased Pull-Ups and a cool new Cars potty seat at Babies R Us which will hopefully assist us well in this life changing and money saving process. Diapers are expensive!

Munchkin had his second haircut today.  We went to the same place where he had his first haircut, but a different barber cut his hair.

The barber shop is called Steve 3000 and has a set up for little kids, complete with cool chairs and cartoons to watch during the haircut.

After the haircut, we did some grocery shopping.  We were trying to get all our errands done earlier in the day because there were supposed to be really bad storms passing through New York in the afternoon, but luckily they did not hit us.

For dinner, I made some mushroom and cheese tortellini that I bought at Stop and Shop.  While I forgot to take a picture before scarfing it down, it was really good and both Munchkin and I cleaned our plates.  I combined it with my new favorite pasta sauce, also from Stop and Shop.  For those outside of New York, Stop and Shop is basically Giant under a different name.

After Munchkin finally hit the hay, I packed up all of our stuff for our trip to the beach tomorrow.  I’m pretty excited since it is the first official beach day of the season.  Hopefully Munchkin was not spoiled by the white sand beaches of Mexico and will have a good time.  I just hope he doesn’t try to eat the sand again.

Question: How did you potty train your kids? If you don’t have kids, how did you learn to go potty? HELP!
