Law School made easy…kinda

I’m writting this post from a little park between all the courthouses in downtown Manhattan.  Not gonna lie I feel pretty cool sitting out here with my hot pink laptop. I just got out of my criminal law review class and I needed a little breather before I get back to studying and this seemed like the perfect spot to enjoy my iced caramel macchiato from Starbucks.

Starbucks + Blogging outdoors = Great

This morning started out like any other with munchkin awake at the crack of dawn aka 7:30.  We enjoyed a delicious breakfast of overnight oats with banana and honey before I had to run off and do law school stuff. Not fun. I really enjoy my mornings with my little man.

I had a 10:30 review class for my criminal law final which is this Thursday, I can’t wait for it to be over already.  The review class was held at Brick in Tribeca, a brick oven pizza place.  So in addition to our talk of Felony Murder and Affirmative Defenses, we were able to enjoy all the pizza out little hearts and bellies desired.  It was real good – crisp and fresh out of the oven.

The pizza definitely made my afternoon.  The review was really helpful also.  If any of you are in Law School in the New York area I highly recommend Lawyer Up.  They’re all lawyers who run review classes for law school students.  While it may seem a little pricy, they are great at what they do and you leave with a great understanding of all the stuff your professor was trying to confuse you with.  I think I’m also going to take a few of their review during their summer to get a head start on my classes for next semester.

I’m gonna go wander around a bit more before heading back to school to do some more studying.  Week and a half left!
