Both me and Alex seem to have caught some kind of bug and we’re not enjoying it. I’m not sure if I have a cold or allergies, but Alex definitely has a yucky cold complete with cough and stuffy nose. It’s actually his first real cold. I think I did a pretty good job keeping the germs away for 15 months. 🙂
The crazy weather that reeked havoc over the Midwest yesterday is heading our way. There were already two tornado warnings not too far from here in Jersey. Since the weather man was saying the rain wouldn’t get here until about 1pm I decided to run to the supermarket to pick up some things for dinner before it started to pour. Coming out of the supermarket I got scared when I saw the black clouds approaching. Its so dark and ominous that even the Manhattan skyline disappeared somewhere within them.
I hope you’re safe and that this crazy weather hasn’t effected you. Hopefully nothing too bad will come of it here either. Now I’m off to prepare dinner with the 75 pounds of asparagus I got from Tommy’s mom. 😉
