A Trip to Trader Joe’s

Yesterday I took a trip the the happiest place on Earth, DisneyWorld Trader Joe’s! Luckily, this time Trader Joe’s was a lot less crowded and the shelves were fully stocked. I only picked up a few staples since I’m saving room in the fridge for all the food for Munchkin’s party. Last year, I got his first birthday catered, but decided that I can do it myself this year. Thursday and Friday are going to be busy, busy, busy!

I finally picked up the Hot Multi Grain Cereal I’ve been wanting to try and it is quite yummy. I also got another container of plain oatmeal. Last time I was at TJ’s they were all out and I got Steel Cut Oats and they just aren’t as creamy as regular oats. I can’t believe that I used to hate oatmeal as a kid and now I eat it almost everyday for breakfast.

I also picked out some random bars that I haven’t tried yet. I had to replenish my snack stash before school starts next week. It still hasn’t hit me that I have to go back to school next week!

The Cliff Z bars are so good! Munchkin and I split the Honey Graham flavor last night and it tasted just like a cookie.

I am also happy to report that all our Birthday Party prep is moving along well. For a while, I was missing a cake because it turned out that my friend’s girlfriend wasn’t able to make it because she had another cake already ordered for that day. After posting a plea on Facebook, my friend Carlos from Oven Fresh Dreams said he and friend of his could help me out. I’m super excited to see what they come up with because Carlos is a super talented baker!

On the to-do list for today are finalize the party menu, make a yummy dinner following a new recipe and look for some exciting things to do in Vermont. Anyone have any recommendations for restaurants/things to do in the Mt. Snow/ Willmington, VT areas?

Have a great Tuesday!

What’s your go to breakfast food? What’s your favorite snack/protein bar?

  1. My breakfast always consist of a toast with some nut butter or biscoff, coffee, and a fruit. I really need to start making oatmeal in the morning. I love oatmeals! 🙂

  2. I've been making egg muffins. One whole muffin tin gets me through a few days…just nuke and eat in the morning!
This must have been Trader Joe's week in the blog world. A bunch of bloggers have been sharing their trips to TJ's…love it!

  3. My go-to breakfast is usually cereal or a bagel. I'm boring. 😉 I bet Munchkin's birthday is going to be perfect!
