Overnight Oats

I woke up this morning super excited to try my overnight oats that had been sitting in the fridge waiting to be eaten all night.  I followed the basic recipe from Kath Eats Real Food which is one part oats to two parts liquid.  I mixed my 1/2 cup of oatmeal with 1/2 cup of skim milk and 1/2 cup of Fage Greek Yogurt and added in two teaspoons of cocoa for some chocolaty deliciousness.  This morning I swirled some honey over the top and added in a banana.


Ready to be eaten.


While the oats may not look like the most appetizing breakfast they were awesome and I have a feeling they will be making an appearance again very soon (maybe even tomorrow morning!).


Even got the baby seal of approval.



I’m a huge Groupon junkie! For those who don’t know what Groupon is its a website that offers different deals in your area for a discounted price.  My latest purchase was $5 for $10 of fro yo from Oko Yogurt in Forest Hills.



I can’t wait to hit the place up the frozen yogurt and toppings look so yummy.  I’ve been craving soft serve for the longest time so hopefully this can satisfy my sweet tooth.
